Data we handle

Shadow Accountant stores account credentials through Supabase Auth, ledger transactions you record, uploaded documents, review decisions, audit events, and optional support messages. We do not collect bank login credentials. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Workspace records remain until you delete them or request account deletion. Audit events are kept so you can see what changed. Backup copies may persist for a limited operational period after deletion.

Export instructions

Signed-in users can review ledger rows, documents, and audit history in the workspace. To request a full export of your stored records, email support@shadowaccountant.com from the account email or use the support form with category “Data problem.”

Deletion instructions

Request deletion through the support form or by emailing support@shadowaccountant.com. We will delete or anonymize account data we control, except records we must keep for security or legal reasons. Uploaded originals are not publicly accessible.
